Programs

Horizons students are engaged in building valuable skills, cultivating long-lasting relationships, and are better prepared for the following school year. • Encourage parental participation in their child’s education
  • Encourage students to set and achieve post-secondary goals
  • Increase awareness of healthy lifestyles, nutrition, exercise, and social-emotional health
  • Ensure that students have adequate healthy food
  • Develop interpersonal/intrapersonal skills, increase self-confidence and self-awareness
  • Cultivate a sense of responsibility and creative problem-solving skills
  • Teach students how to swim to increase confidence through personal skill development
